The presidential elections are considered valid if more than 50% of all citizens of the Republic of Belarus registered on the electoral roll participate in the voting process. A candidate is elected president if they receive over 50% of the votes cast during the election[2] The Central Election Commission (CEC) has registered five candidates for the upcoming seventh presidential elections.
